In our class today, we saw how God is in control of every aspect of our life in the good as well as the bad, that there is not one thing that is out of His control. I challenge you this week as you go through the routine of your day be conscience of God's presence in your life. I would love to hear from you on how this impacts your life knowing that God is in total control of every event in your life.
What has really impacted me is understanding His control. He will use my sin for His glory and for my good. I don't much like discipline, even when it is for my good. Yet I see that my personal walk with Him is hurt by the wrong choices I make when I wonder off the right path. I see now the moral obligation that I have to try to keep to the path He has chosen for me. His way is much easier if I don't take detours along the way. I can't understand His ways, but He is in control. Like the song says "I don't know about tomorrow but I know who holds my hand." Praise God!
ReplyDeleteIt's very encouraging for me to realize the fact that God is in every aspect of our lives, good and bad. It makes you feel like you can take on anything that comes at you because you know God is there and in control. I never had that before and it makes sharing the gospel much easier because now I really BELIEVE what i'm trying to tell people. Before, I was not nearly as confident and my sharing felt uneffective and fake. I geuss it was, but that is no longer the case.
