  1. Growing Through Adversity
I have often pondered the scripture ..."count it all joy when you fall into various trials, ..." etc. (James 1:2-4) ....but our study of Growing Through Adversity..focusing on ways we profit from adversity: pruning (needed), growing in holiness, dependence (on God), perseverance, service (more effective), the fellowship of suffering, a deeper relationship with God..OH MY...what a wonderful learning this chapter has been. 2. This class has meant so much to me. I am learning to try and see things through the eyes of God in "everything". For me, not easy to do. But to live your life that way, which God commands us to do, how much easier to face each day.
